Ignitor…fool

Ignitor...Fool! began in 2010 with Coleman Lewis (Smoke) on guitar and Justin Hughes (Rock*a*teens) on drums. After putting together a group of songs, they decided they needed a singer and bassist. Lisa Kemp (vocals) and Michael McMurphy (bass) soon joined, and turned these rock-riff based compositions into songs, with memorable titles like "Smelling the Ether," "They Knew Me," "Julio" (pronounced with a "j" not an "h") and "Draggin' Lady". The band didn't play many shows, and Lewis passed away, sadly, in 2014. For ten years these songs sat in the backs of Lisa and Justin's heads, and in 2024, they decided they deserved to be heard again. Justin switched to guitar, and a new version was born. In 2025 and 2026, they recruited Eric Young and Steve McPeeks, veterans of many, many Atlanta bands, to bring the project back to the stage.
