Leary are internationally recognized members of the traditional music community, with

a diverse repertoire of traditional and contemporary song. With an engaging stage

presence and understated virtuosity, they present a timeless selection of songs and

instrumentals that range from the ancient Irish tradition to reflections on the present day.

Nuala and Eamon recorded their latest album, Hydra, in an old carpet factory, whose

windows open onto the Aegean Sea. Here they present stories of the sea, of love and

courtship, of work and ritual, of emigration, of war… Hydra reverberates with a sense of

space, and a palpable delight in place and storytelling. Chosen folk Album of the month

by The Guardian, and receiving rave reviews around the world, it is another not to be

missed recording by this magnificent duo.

Bichos Vivos

Based in Athens, GA, Bichos Vivos is a vibrant musical collective that bridges the gap between North and South American traditions. Since 2017, the ensemble has specialized in fusing the infectious rhythms of Northeastern Brazil—such as Forró, Baião, and Xaxado—with American Folk and Pop. Imagine the "contagious danceability" of Zydeco mixed with the spirit of artists like Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Composed of a diverse group of educators and professional musicians, the band creates a unique "inter-American crossroads" that is as culturally rich as it is danceable.
