Continuing a dialogue begun decades ago, fellow New Jerseyans/Athenian Georgians Killick Hinds & Jeff Reilly play with texture, rhythm and space to create an immersive submersion of (insert synonym for the bathetic and garbled “groovy”) abstractions. Killick plays unusual stringed instruments and Jeff plays uncommonly sonorous percussion. Their new album recorded by Jesse Mangum at The Glow studio in Athens is called The Sloppiest Lobbyist and can be found on select Bandcamps where you find them.
