Kenosha Kid, brainchild of guitarist Dan Nettles, takes over Tuesdays
in May at Dead Beat Club with two sets of sonic bliss as likely to
reference Monk as Willie Nelson, Hendrix as Duke Ellington. As the
group moves beyond twenty years of existence, each week features new
facets of Nettles' ever-expanding catalog that exists "...somewhere in
the Schrödinger’s nexus of jazz, post-rock and improvised music...".
To sweeten the whole evening, Dead Beat Club will also be selling
pizza $4 a slice.
