Athens, Georgia’s Little Gold is a rock n’ roll band with songwriter Christian DeRoeck, a founding member of Woods and current member of Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band, at its center. On their upcoming 5th album Public Dog (Tall Texan Records), Little Gold play anthemic power pop with a lo-fi country heart. Rounding out the lineup is a proverbial Murderer’s Row of Athens shredders, with Brandon Page (Big Trouble) on bass, Drew Beskin on keys, Tyler Key on electric and pedal steel guitar, and Stephen Payne on drums. 

Sunset Honor Unit is a cowboy pop co-op fronted by twin writers Drew Kirby (Mothers, CDSM) and Jake Chisenhall (Delorean Gray, Fake Flowers) who approach soul-baring country classicism with the incisiveness of punk. Kirby & Chisenhall are cohorts in longrunning Georgia-based psychedelic pop collective Marching Banana and bring a wide-eyed, genre-smashing homespun approach to their earnest songs of joy and remorse. Sunset Honor Unit released their debut “Desire Paths” in late 2023 via Marching Banana Records and have a forthcoming album “In The House of the Highest Dead Ends” dropping this autumn.
